About This Place

Located in the vibrant heart of San Antonio, Diana's Burgers is a true local treasure for hamburger enthusiasts seeking a flavorful and satisfying dining experience. This charming eatery, easily recognized by its distinctive pink building on North Zarzamora Street, invites guests into a warm, cozy atmosphere reminiscent of gathering around a family table. Whether you're a longtime burger aficionado or simply craving a comforting meal, Diana's Burgers delivers with genuine Texas spirit and deliciously crafted fare.

Their menu offers a mouthwatering range of burgers and sides that highlight their commitment to bold, hearty flavors. Standouts like the Cheddar Burger, featuring a perfectly seasoned beef patty topped with melted cheddar cheese, crisp lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles smothered with classic yellow mustard, provide a nostalgic yet elevated burger experience. For those who like a little kick, the Jalapeño Cheddar Burger adds pickled jalapeños for that extra punch of heat without overwhelming the palate.

Diana’s culinary creativity shines with unique offerings such as Diana’s Favorite, where refried beans, onions, and crunchy tortilla chips mingle atop a cheddar-topped beef patty, nodding to local flavors and Tex-Mex influences. Vegetarians and those seeking a hearty alternative rave about the Bean Burger with Bacon, an inventive twist that marries smoky bacon with savory beans and cheese, crafting a satisfying and flavorful bite. The menu also includes comforting choices like the Grilled Chicken Sandwich Combo and nacho selections such as the gooey Bean n’ Cheese Nachos and loaded Nachos Especiales, poured over with picadillo.

Complement your meal with classic sides like golden, natural-cut French fries—skin-on for an authentic, rustic texture—and refreshing beverages including the nostalgic Rootbeer Float or Shiner Bock served in a frosted mug, enhancing the all-around sensory experience. The portions here are generous, with customers frequently noting that for just $1.50 extra, adding an additional patty transforms any burger into a hearty feast fit for sharing or indulging solo.

But what truly sets Diana's Burgers apart is not just the food, but the heartfelt hospitality that accompanies every visit. As John Gaona shared, the personal greeting from the owner and the familial atmosphere make dining here feel like more than just a meal—it’s a memorable community experience. Tokeisha Sanders appreciates the stress-free ease of grabbing an incredible burger close to home without compromising on taste, while Andrew McPhail travels across the city to savor what he calls the “best burger” he’s ever had. Even nuanced feedback, like Lexi Daisy’s thoughtful remarks on seasoning and cozy ambiance, speaks to the genuine ties customers feel with this local gem.

In essence, Diana’s Burgers isn’t just about a quick bite; it’s about the joy of savoring expertly crafted, flavorful burgers in a welcoming environment where every guest feels like family. For those who crave burgers steeped in tradition, topped with care and a sprinkle of Texas charm, this spot is truly a must-visit destination in San Antonio.

Awesome dining experience for my family and I. What a blessing it was to meet the owner and have him greet us as we sat down. He food tell us that we would have to come back again as the burgers are very good. He wasn't lying at all. Delicious burgers, fries, nachos and grilled cheese. We want to thank you the owner and his family/team for giving us a blessed experience here at Diana's. We will return just like the doctor ordered.

The best burger without any stress. Great location, excellent flavor without skimping on the taste. So happy they are less than 2 miles away.

Absolutely the BEST burger I have ever ate. I come all the way from the north side when I want the best! Totally worth the price & drive. HIGHLY recommended.

The pink building immediately catches your eye, and walking in feels cozy—almost like dining at a favorite aunt or uncle’s house where everyone gathers around the table. I ordered the bacon cheddar burger with fries, and my husband tried the bean burger. My burger had nice flavor, though the fries were a bit plain. My husband felt his burger was okay but could’ve used a bit more seasoning. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and a nice spot to try.

Amazingly delicious burgers. For $1.50 extra you can add an additional patty, great deal! Burgers are large and can be split as a meal for 2. Fountain drinks with free refills. Natural cut fries with the skin still on were adequately salted and cooked. First time visiting, but will definitely be back. Wishing this restaurant great success as more people discover it!

Great flavors, plenty of parking and THE PEOPLE ARE AMAZING. These people are sooooo nice. They not only served up some for burgers but also gave us tons of ideas for the rest of our trip. True hospitality at its best!!!!

So, I finally tried Diana’s Burgers, and let me tell you — this thing was massive. Juicy, greasy, and everything you want in a burger that’s gonna make you question if you should’ve brought wet wipes. The patty was loaded with flavor, the veggies were fresh, and the whole thing hit like a nostalgia trip back to the old Chris Madrid’s days (which makes sense, because the owner used to run that place). Now, to be fair — if I’m putting Diana’s and Chris Madrid’s head-to-head, I’ve still gotta give Madrid’s the win. They’ve got the atmosphere, they serve alcohol, and the remodel definitely gives it a more lively feel. Diana’s leans more “throwback diner” — not bad, just… could use a little facelift. Fries were alright, nothing groundbreaking, but they did their job. Overall though? The burger itself is a solid 10/10. Not the best in San Antonio like some reviews claim, but easily one of the better ones. Just come hungry, bring napkins, and expect to leave full and happy.

If there’s a Burger Heaven, we found It!!!! We have been wanting to try this burger joint out for over a year, just never remember or not in the neighborhood - but all the stars lined up today and it happened! Holy Toledo why did we wait so darn long to find the Heaven of burgers!!!! Cheddar or American we were asked, 4oz or 8oz followed with wanna make it a combo; I wanted to say “YES” to everything! The place is super clean and huge, the staff is so friendly and welcoming, is this your first time they all asked, yes, we said; what took you all so long they said? Parking can be a tad frustrating but get over it, it is totally worth it. We get our cups and a buzzer, e we take a seat and watch the line to order grow, we see others before us getting their orders, then our buzzer goes off as we jump up and go get out red plastic basket of Heaven!! The bun has been toasted too perfection and shiny with grease/oil/butter whooo knows. The cheese, the cheddar cheese is Oozing and running out from all sides of the burger, then we see the fries! WTH, fresh cut fries the color they they were reminded me of my grandmas home made fries, I couldn’t make it to the table without eating one and all I can say us perfection, home run on the fries. We sit down grab the hot burger with greasy buns and take a bite….. BAAAAAAMM , Boooooom the buns are toasted but soft, the lettuce is crisp, just the right slot of mustard and Mayo and the tomatoes are diced and the juice runs out and falls into the basket (drip, drip) you hear it fall and hit the paper. Then you taste the meat with a small crisped to perfection end on the meat, we got the 4oz and it was juicy, thick and just the right amount of seasoning. And then the cheddars explosion happens, all this takes place after every single bite til you finish the entire burger! My explanation can’t do this burger Justice, you have to go, get up and start heading to the West side of San Antonio done on zarzamora you can’t miss it, Pink building on the corner. You will not regret this decision, you may regret that it took you so darn long to go but you will leave satisfied and happy to be alive! Whatever you all are doing over there at Diana’s, keep doing it and tell Diana thank you for opening this gem in the west side of San Antonio!!!!!
